Well, it looks like liberalism has struck again! A federal judge in Pensacola, Florida has ordered that a cross be removed from a public park.
The cross has been there standing tall in the Bayview Park for SEVENTY YEARS and has never harmed or bothered anyone. It was put up in the park in 1941 and then in 1969, instead of tearing it down, a local civic group built a new one.
Now, in 2017, the generation of extreme liberalism, where if one person finds something offensive, they can have it removed from the lives of everyone, so they no longer feel offended… I wonder what they will do when some homosexual decides fat people are offensive to him… Execute everyone that person finds offensive? And will the death sentence the homosexual had levied still be enforceable after some snowflake college student takes offense to the homosexuals use of “fat” and the homosexual has to be executed? Think all that sounds stupid… Of course it does! Unless of course you are the rare liberal who stumbled upon my page.
So because FOUR people claim to be offended by a cross, a federal judge has ruled the cross a violation of the establishment clause… That’s the clause the liberals believe means freedom from and not freedom OF religion..
U.S. District Court Judge Roger Vinson ruled the 34-foot cross in Bayview Park violates the establishment clause and MUST be removed within 30 days.
If you are wondering who the poor offended souls are, it was the American Humanist Association that filed the lawsuit on behalf of FOUR Escambia County residents. Seeing that cross in the park was just too much for them to tolerate knowing it violated the establishment clause and all… Poor people, Sundays must be so difficult for them seeing so many practicing religion….
The fight may not be over though, the city is reviewing the order and their legal options with legal counsel… One option they have to avoid continuing the legal battle would be to deed the part over to a local civic organization, if they do that, there is no chance in hell of the four offended humanist challenging the cross on a constitutional basis and they just might have to learn to cope…
