Marine Patriot Blog

Thank GOD America has a true Patriot leading the nation! Sometimes when President Trump tweets or says something that seems a little off the hook, I will think of the Full Metal Jacket move and the scene where the Gunny Says,

“Private Pyle is silly and ignorant, but he’s got guts and guts is all it takes!

There was nothing even remotely silly or ignorant about what President Trump said during his speech in Alabama. He is the President of the United States and the American Flag IS more than just a piece of cloth, it is our Nation’s Standard that represents everything sacred about our country.

That flag represents our Nation’s history from the time we were merely 13 little Colonies struggling to survive. For those not raised in an era when kids were taught about the history of our Nation, there are thirteen stripes on the flag, they are there to represent the 13 original Colonies.

On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress passed the Flag Resolution and established the first Congressional Standard for United States ensigns… That original flag had those 13 stripes representing the Colonies with 13 stars to represent the first 13 United States of America. Today that American Flag has FIFTY stars to represent the 50 United States no matter how many our previous President was known to say we have.

I hope I am not alone when I say that I am FURIOUS at some of the rhetoric I have been hearing and the attacks on our President for expressing his frustration toward a bunch of arrogant athletes that continuously disrespect the American Flag that hundreds of thousands of men and women have literally sacrificed everything to protect and defend all that it represents.

Hundreds of thousands of men have taken their last breath in far off distant hell-holes fighting for that flag, many clinging to it as they took their last breath.

Brave Americans have carried that flag into battle and many have returned home with it draped over their casket. Countless mothers and wives have had that flag placed into their hands by an American Warrior offering it as a symbolic representation of a grateful nation.

These spoiled arrogant pricks and their managers attack the President for expressing his disgust at their disrespect for the Flag and the National Anthem and they try to make it about race calling him a white supremacist and an assortment of other ignorant insults.

Then some self-entitled brat states publically that he is not sure he wants to be recognized at the White House, so the President says fine, you’re not invited and again, suddenly he is a racist white supremest. I’ll be honest, I don’t follow professional sports at all… They don’t impress me and when I see a tweet that says, “he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite.” like the clown in the tweet below, I have to wonder if someone like that could even find the White House.

Oh, and let’s not forget those who really want to stretch things out, If you think the President was actually calling their mothers bitches because he used a common colloquialism when he said someone should fire those sons a bitches, you need to soak your head in a bucket of water for a few minutes and wake the hell up!

President Trump did not have any more intention of calling their mothers bitches than they intend to disrespect the troops when they take a knee during the National Anthem. The difference is when every veteran in America tells you it is disrespectful to those who have given their lives over the years to secure your right to take that knee, then you should listen to them.

Liberals are constantly saying that just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should do it… It’s one of their favorite lines when discussing free speech.

YES, in America you can take a knee during the National Anthem and disrespect the Flag and I don’t know a single veteran that would not defend your right to take that knee… I also don’t know any veterans that would not tell you that you’re a complete a**hole for doing it.

If you have a social issue you want to protest, go for it! No one wants you using their recreational time to do it though. There are six other days of the week you can protest… If you think the police are unjustly killing people of any color, go take a knee outside their police department…

Or here is a real novel idea all you oversized football players that claim to be so concerned about black lives. Make a league schedule and start spending your spare days and nights in Chicago mentoring the scores of lost youth that need mentorship during the day and protection at night…

Or take some of that money you make from a nation of obsessed fans and build some tech schools or training centers for them because the money the politicians get to help those in the inner cities are putting it in their pocket and bankrupting the communities they live in.

Do something, anything other than disrespecting the flag that so many have died fighting for that represents what gives you the freedom to do what’s right, or what’s wrong and not get hauled off in the middle of the night by government thugs to be beaten or killed. [And yes, it really does happen in some countries.]

Imagine how your mother, sister, or wife would feel if the last time she saw you was in a Flag draped casket and that Flag was carefully removed and meticulously folded and presented to her after your body was lowered into the ground. And when the Flag was presented to her a member of the Armed Forces stood in front of her and said,

“On behalf of the President of the United States, the United States Marine Corps, and a grateful Nation, please accept this Flag as a symbol of our appreciation for your loved one’s honorable and faithful service.”

Then imagine her having to turn the television on only to see athletes disrespecting that flag and protesters around the country in mobs burning that flag… That Flag that is not just a piece of cloth, but a symbol of the nation’s appreciation for their loved one’s honorable and faithful service…

This is how you make them feel… It is not the President you are hurting, it is not the police officers you are hurting… It is a mere 1% of the nation’s population that wears a uniform of the armed forces and the loved ones of those lost that receive that flag…

Find another way and be grateful, no matter what you think of his policies, that we have a President that is a true patriot… A patriot that refuses to back down or back peddle from his stern and vigorous support for the American Flag, that he knows represents life to those who have worn the Nation’s military uniform.

I remember there was a Muslim couple whose son was killed fighting for the country and a big deal was made about how President Trump, who was a candidate then, had been disrespectful to this Gold Star family because of something he said. Well, there is NO DOUBT that these arrogant athletes are being disrespectful to every Gold Star family and American Veteran

Well, there is NO DOUBT that these arrogant athletes are being disrespectful to every Gold Star family and American Veteran when they kneel during the National Anthem and refuse to respect the American Flag.

These players taking a knee should talk to one of the real men in the league… Alejandro Villanueva… He served 3 combat tours in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger… He knows the true cost paid and understands respect…

Oh, one last thing I would like to note… If you are one of those people crying about how the President expressed himself that is always complaining he is not being “Presidential” and other silly things like that… Well, save it! Save it for when you and others like you start showing him the respect the President of the United States is entitled to…

The first video tells a story that highlights a moment in our nation’s early history that really illustrates the price paid for the freedom we enjoy…

The second video is an amazing explanation of the Pledge of Allegiance…. I hope you will watch both of these videos.

SGT A Rant: Respect For The Flag Is NOT Racism!

Any officer can get by on his sergeants. To be a sergeant you have to know your stuff. I’d rather be an outstanding sergeant than just another officer.
